Best CIS software

I've just taken on my first CIS client.

Does anyone have recommendations for the best software to use? He has signed up for Quickbooks but I've seen some negative things online regarding how they process the CIS scheme. Would Xero be better?

If anyone has experience and can advise me I would really appreciate some guidance.

Many thanks, Zoe

Thanks Rachel, I was thinking this way but it's good to have it confirmed by someone with experience!

Haven't used Quickbooks CIS, but Xero CIS is straightforward and quick to use.
