This month's webinar is the first of two AML Monday webinars where we look at what procedures are required to ensure that your practice continues to operate if you have to be away from your business for any amount of time.
It is an unfortunate fact that every year a very small number of ICB members get broadsided by something that wasn't in their KPIs. You might think, in your head, that you have a plan in place, perhaps that your team would take over, or that someone you know would step in to hold the fort. But is your plan fully thought through, and what happens if your short absence becomes longer, or even becomes permanent?
In this MLR Monday session we look at the ICB Continuation of Practice Engagement (COPE) as an introduction to what you need to have in place and to prompt you to look at what could happen if all doesn't quite go to plan.
How will your absence affect your client relationships and your team? If you have a will, who are your executors, and will they know what to do with your practice? And if you are incapacitated, who has power of attorney?
