Information
Recent changes in legislation mean that anyone submitting information to Companies House on behalf of clients must be registered as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider (ACSP).
But what does this mean for bookkeepers?
Only businesses and individuals supervised under the UK's Money Laundering Regulations can act as ACSPs. This means that if you are an ICB member with a practice licence or operate under our AML supervision you are allowed to register as an ACSP.
If you’d like to know more, please join the ICB compliance team on Monday 10 February at 2pm for our regular MLR Monday session. Our special guest this month is Mark Buckley, Workstream Lead for the ACSP project at Companies House who will explain the why, what, how and when of registering as an Authorised Corporate Service Provider.
The session will be recorded for those who can’t make it in person.
