September was a month of change, both for the nation and the UK Government. October is a time to digest what this means going forward.
The new UK Government presented its Growth Plan on 23 September 2022 which highlighted upcoming months of change and necessary preparation. Undoubtedly, the most important consideration is the change to the National Insurance Contribution percentages that are effective for payrolls paying on and after 06 November 2022. It is essential that bookkeepers are prepared for this.
