Hi,
I have a new client who registered their limited company with companies house last June. They thought HMRC would be informed automatically but they say HMRC haven't sent them a UTR number.
They are worried as they've been trading for 9 months will HMRC fine them for not registering for corporation tax. Can you tell me if this is likely?
