I am in employment as a bookkeeper but I also have my self assessment qualification, although I haven't used it in a long time as I'm now employed. A colleague asked my advice on the SA. She has a coffee van (3 wheeler, max speed about 10MPH). She's doing her SA and wants to know whether to claim AIA for the van and equipment or WDA due to low income.

SHould she claim AIA or WDA?
