A sole trader registered LTD company few days ago, he wants to register for VAT FRS as soon as possible. When hes registered, can he backdate VAT to the time when he started being sole trader? I dont think so because the company will be registered for VAT and not he as a sole trader. if company for example was registering for VAT in lets say secound year of incorporation then VAT could be backdated to tha date of incorporation. Am I right in my thinking or not? Please help
