Happy New Year all! I trust that everyone had a good Christmas break & is looking forward to a prosperous 2014!

Apologies for the late reminder about our first 2014 branch meeting taking place next Thursday 9th January 2014.  The plan is for the meeting to be an informal plenary session to set the agenda for the remainder of the year; dates booked are:

  • Tuesday 11th March

  • Thursday 8th May – Gary Carter Special

  • Tuesday 15th July

  • Thursday 11th September

  • Tuesday 11th November

Watch the ICB events page where hopefully the meeting will soon be listed & you can book your place!

Agenda

19.00 – Welcome(Chair)

19.05 – Member Introductions (All)

19.15 – ICB Bookkeeper’s Summit feedback
(branch members who attended: Andrew Fleming, Julie Cameron, Kathryn Cox, Ruth Wailes and Debbie Mole)

19.45 - 2014 branch plenary session

 21.00 - Close

ICB meetings are open to both students and members alike; they are run by members, for members.

Attendees at the Suffolk branch meeting not only come from Suffolk but also come Essex and Norfolk.  Attendees are at membership levels – students, AICBs, MICBs and even a Fellow!

No matter where you are in your bookkeeping career you are assured a warm welcome by your ICB peers.  Meetings offer a safe environment to ask any question, share experiences, talk through concerns and gain knowledge from the attending members, students and guest speakers.

Hope to see some old & new faces next week!

All the best,

Jo

How do I book for the Branch meeting? I'm sure last year I did it via the ICB Shop, but I can't find the link this time? Is it okay to pay on the night?

Thanks
