Back by popular demand we are lucky enough to have Ray Ward from the HMRC presenting on the following VAT topics:-
- VAT on motor fuel options
- Partial exemption
- Second hand margin scheme
- Trading with other countries
The meeting will start at the normal time of 19.00 hrs & will be at our usual venue of The Cedars Hotel, Stowmarket. Full details will be published on the ICB events page in due course.
Those of you who were at the last meeting will know that I have resigned as Suffolk Chair so for the meetings to continue, we need someone to put themselves forward for the role.
We have two furthers dates booked in until the end of year, Thursday 3rd October & Tuesday 3rd December. The venue is booked, I am happy to chair these meetings & take/distribute minutes however the responsibility for providing main topic & guest speak will need to fall to the other members to contribute.
Unfortunately, if a new chair has not been appointed by the end of the year I cannot see that the meetings can continue moving forward so if you value them, please work together to keep them going!
