The Staffordshire area offcially relaunched on Monday 24 September and was very well received by those that attended. Our speaker was Criag Mooore, a local accountant in Cannock where the meeting was held. He spoke about the challeneges of setting up your own business from his own personal experience and also touched on marketing and a few other topics.

Our next meeting is booked for Monday 19th November at The Roman Way Hotel in Cannock and it would be great if you could attend. Please book on via this website so we have an idea of numbers

Thank you Gill for organising the event last night. I found the Roman Way Hotel easy to get to and there was plenty of parking.

Craig's talk about setting up his own accountancy practice was interesting and very well presented. I am a student and it was nice to meet other students as well as qualified bookkeepers. Gill and Ken Bell gave us useful advice drawn from their own experiences and answered our questions. Ideas for future events particularly helpful to new bookkeepers were also discussed.

All in all it was a pleasant and enjoyable evening and I hope others from the area will come to the next meeting.

Having attended the relaunch of the Staffordshire meetings on Monday evening, I found this useful and interesting.
As a student, this was the first meeting I've been to and it was good to speak to others in a similar situation. The talk by Craig was well presented and further advice given by Ken and Gill was relevant to us all.

Overall the evening was very worthwhile and I would encourage others to attend further meetings.
