Dear All,
I am in the process of setting up a London Daytime Branch meeting as there has been some demand for it and I am hoping to schedule the first one in the middle of June.
I just wanted to get some feeback on what sort of times will suit you all? I wanted to schedule the meeting at 10:30am and it will run to about 12:30 or 1pm.
Anyone thinking of attending the daytime meeting please let me know your thoughts as soon as possible!
Regards,
Meena

Hello Meena,
It is a good idea for those who cannot come to evening sessions. There has been suggestions of having two separate forums for North London and South London. However with your efforts, now another option could be for two London Forums one day time and one evening (instead of North - South). Perhaps we can give it a thought and discuss it further during next Wednesday's meeting.
Best Regards Shahram

Hmmm 44 views and only one reply?? Where are you all hiding?
Thanks Shahram for your comments, would you be interested in attending the daytime meeting?

Hi,
It might work on some occasions, but on other occasions evenings are more suitable for me. Perhaps one can choose from one to the other according to the events of a particular calendar week, and participate in both groups. I am sure people who have children at school and have difficulty in finding someone to look after them in the evenings can give it more thought; plus the early birds who need to get up very early in the mornings and need to be home early in the evenings. Its worth considering it, but more input for the time may be needed from people, as for some people afternoons might be better than mornings.
Best Wishes

Meena great idea. I was going to do one in SE London in the morning. Do you want to chat about it, I am conscious it will take up the day for a working parent but then working mums/dads like me can't get to 6.30pm meetings!

Hi, Meena -
A few thoughts:
A morning meeting would suit me better than the afternoon and some days will suit people better than others, (I can't make Tuesdays - gym.)
I'd suggest getting a couple of good speakers and good topics to attract people to come along and then find the day/time they'd find most convenient. Or is that getting too complicated perhaps? It would certainly be good to get 20-odd members together if we can.
Maybe a show of hands to find which days/times to consider?
Cheers
Mac

Hi Guys,
Thanks for your comments - and Mac my cover was blown a long time ago! I do actually have a speaker in the pipeline for the first meeting but waiting for confirmation from them.
Unfortunately Tuesdays are the best day for me so I will be booking the next one on a Tuesday if I can get a date then, I will look at making the July meeting on a Wednesday or Friday and I'm trying to cater for everyone who will be attending but can't please everyone!
As Mac suggested, could I please have a "show of hands" as to the best day/time as I am trying to cater for people who primarily cannot attend the evening meetings, I would certainly consider it a success if I could get 20 or more to attend!

I am interested in attending, Tuesday is not the best day for me, but with enough notice I can move things around, if the following meeting will be a Wednesday that would be great.
Anyway just replying so you know someone else is interested. I know how difficuilt it is to try to arrange a meeting, guessing numbers and trying to please everyone.

I thought I had replied!
Yes, a daytime meeting will be ideal for me, and if it's based in South London even better!
