Hi Everyone
Just to keep you updated we will have two new beanch meetings up and running in the next few months in the South East.
We have a Branch opening in Guildford to cover Surrey and a Branch Opening in Uckfield to Cosver East Sussex.
if you are interested in attending one of these branches please drop us a line in this thread so we can gauge the venue requirements.

Hi Stuart,
I'm new to this forum and I'm interested about news and events in Guildford/Surrey area. Would you please let me know when the branch in Guildford will be open? Also as I haven't been to any meetings before what do you usually do and discuss?
I recently passed my Level 1 and now studing towards Level 2 and I really want to get to know more people doing the same from the same area.

Hi Dannie
At the London meetings we have members from at all levels attending from Students to Fellows.
The London meetings run along these lines
We start with group networking giving everybody chance to mix and chat
We then have a technical lecture delivered by a member of the group
This is followed by news from the ICB
The final segment takes many forms it can a guest speaker, A Quiz, Role plays or even a round table discussion.
It is looking like with luck the Guildford meeting will kick of in early May but is to be confirmed.

The Guildford meeting details are just being finalised I think they are aiming for 2nd May they just need to confirm this date with the venue (Guildford Fire Station)

It's great to see some interest in our new East Sussex branch meetings.
Our first meeting will be held on 9th May at 6.30pm at the Blackboys Inn, Blackboys, East Sussex which is off the A22 between Halland & Heathfield.
I hope you can make it and look forward to seeing you there.

Sorry to hear you can't make it to our Uckfield meeting.
Would you consider starting a new branch in Brighton yourself? All the local branch meetings are run by members. Stuart Wildman is our regional Chairperson and I'm sure he would be happy to give you all the support and guidance you need to get going.
I will be more than happy to give you some assitance once I've got my first meeting in May under my belt.

I spoke to someone about this again the other day, she said she would speak to Stuart, have a look to see how many members are in the area and go from there. I haven't heard anything more, but I am still happy to do it.

Hi all,
I would also like to attend the east sussex meeting, but not sure if I'll make the 6.30 either depending on if the other half is home to take over the childcare! Do I need to book in advance or can I turn up on the night?
How do you book anyway?
I am a little nervous also of coming but will be fine as long as I don't have to speak or roleplay in front of everyone ha ha!

Hi Karen,
It'll be great if you can join us at our Uckfield meeting - where are you from ?
As it's our first meeting we can discuss and make decisions between ourselves about what time the meetings are run, etc. So if the overall concensus is that the meetings start later, then that's what we'll do!
To book you'll need to go the the ICB homepage and click on Events from the left hand menu. From there you'll be guided to the correct location to book.

There are no requirements - you just need to be a member at any level from Student to Fellow.
It's going to be a fairly relaxed meeting with lots of time for discussion and getting to know your fellow members.
