I can't attend any of the London meetings with having young children and as I can't get childcare until 6.30pm. Is there anyone else who has problems and would be interested in starting up a branch either meeting every other month during the day or evenings from about 7pm?

Hi MrsS,

Whereabouts in London are you?

I am currently setting up the Kent Branch meetings in Rainham, Kent, so not a million miles from south east london (my family live in S.E Lon and it takes me about 30 mins to drive). I have currently got the first meeting set for 6.30pm, but one of the subjects up for discussion at this meeting is the time/day most suitable for these meetings. Let me know if you think Rainham is reachable for you, and either please join us for the meeting, or if you cannot make it (I know you mentioned no childcare until 6.30), then I can let you know the outcomes of the discussions and the dates/times for future meetings if they are more suitable.

Cheryl

I cant believe you would engage in poaching members from another region!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and advertising your event in the london region as well where will it all end.

Only joking could not resist Tongue Out

Warmest regards
stuart

p.s. it would be really good to get some sort of daytime meeting going so please let us know if you are interested and where you are based so we can look at the optimal location.

I'll see if I can get another babysitter but I know she's doing a course and childminding and mum did tell me that she doesn't get home until after 7pm but that was on a Tuesday. It will take me more than 30 mins, takes about 25 mins to Bluewater and I know the A2 will be slow at that time! I'm in Blackheath, nr Greenwich/Lewisham.

I would be very interested in a daytime (lunchtime?) meeting in S/E London area.

I can't get to the London meetings as my other half isn't home in time for me to go (always assuming I'm not running around like a headless chicken after the kids!)

I am in the Croydon area but assuming meeting times allowed for me to get back and do the school run I could travel.

Hi All

I a more than happy to help develop a daytime group however we do need to see the demand for it.

Kind regards

Hi Stuart,

If I had a choice I'd probably go to the daytime group - don't like being out late at night! (or what I call late anyway!)
