Help Wanted

I am still new to bookkeeping (Level 1 Manual, passed, Level 2 just started) and have took on two companies (that share an office) as their Financial Administrator one day a week each, working with Sage 2010.  When I took over one company file was fine, the other was in a bit of a mess.  After a few months, there are still many anomalies with the Sage file that I just can't figure out how to resolve and my boss is growing impatient with me.  The anomalies are such that I am not confident of the data that is coming out in reports.

I'm sure an experienced member that knows Sage well would be able to rip through them all pretty quickly.  I would really appreciate sitting down with an experienced bookkeeper to really understand in terms of the accounting how the mistakes have arisen and how to solve them - making it a learning experience rather than someone just clicking through the software and just technically solving them.  I want to be able to steer clear of the issues in the future and be confident of how to resolve them if they do happen.

Is there any member who would be able to spend and hour or two with me in the office (Commercial Street, E1) in the next few weeks?  Of course,  it would be paid.  I perhaps should have done a bit more training before taking on the work but when you get made redundant you need to take the work you can get and I couldn't wait to finish all the training before looking for work.

Many thanks

EDIT:  Just to clarify, the work I do for the two companies is PAYE, not as a freelance practicing bookkeeper.
