Hi All,

Back in June - I think I said I would organise a Slough meeting - near M4 junction - so it would be easy for people to get to.

The Copthorne hotel is near Junction 6 and has space to meet and have a coffee/drink and has parking, which I think is free for 2 hours.

Is anybody interested in meeting up? I know a few people are.  If so let me know the best time, I thought evening perhaps between 7- 8.30ish. How long  and when do other meeting go on for.

It would be nice to have our first meeting before the Bookkeepers forum so we know each other (if you are attending).

If so reply/ send me an email and I will get it moving.

Regards
Clare

Hi Clare

I have got a set format for running these evening meetings that you might find helpful.

Drop me a line @ stuart.wildman@wellersaccountants.co.uk and I will be happy to go through things with you that we do in London.

Kind regards
Stuart

PS you had better not be poaching London members to your meetings!!!!!!! hehehehehehehehe

I will email you seperately with regards to the meeting - as I haven't attended a regional meeting that would be very useful.

and I promise not to pinch any London members..........:)

I would be interested in attending a Slough Meeting as I live not too far away in Ascot.

Likewise, I'm interested, if I know why we're meeting: Is there a schedule of events, etc.?

New Branch

It looks like there is enough interest to start a "Berkshire" branch in the South East region.  Please contact re plans/interest in setting up a new branch.
At present we have active branches in Oxfordshire & Hampshire, plus plans to activate a Kent branch.
Members willing to set up groups in other counties of the South East (Surrey, W.Sussex, E Sussex) should contact me by email.

Head of Regions, Advisory Council.

Does this mean that a meeting has been arranged in the Slough area? I can't find anything on the main ICB site.

Hi Clare,

I live in Berkshire and as a relatively new student would be very keen to attend a meeting in Slough to meet fellow students and experienced bookkeepers willing to share valuable business experience and knowledge.

Please do let us know when you plan to organise this.

Thanks

I have just booked a place for the Berkshire Meeting on 20th March.  I hope everyone supports this as we could all get so much out of regular local meetings.

Good Morning All,

Thank you for booking the meeting. It is in Maindenhead in a Pub on the A4 so it is easy to get to with loads of parking. (slough was proving too hard for various reasons)

If anyone has any questions about the meeting or wants to know more please feel free to contact me at clare@skybusinessservices.co.uk

I am looking forward to meeting you all and together we can establish some regular meetings with interesting topics.

The Venue doesn't cost anything but of course they do expect us to buy some drinks. They do Costa Coffee and tea as well as food.

Come with ideas/thoughts on what you would like out of the meeting.

I will post a thread on a more general forum.

See you all on the 20th March.

Regards
Clare

Hi

I found that afterwards.  But I can't make it.  It's too early a start for me.  A 7:30pm start time would be more preferable if at all possible for any future meetings.

Thanks, Tara

Thank you Tara,
I will be taking comments such as location/ time of start during the meeting, comments on the forum and emails so I will certainly take you commet on the start time on board - Of course you cannot keep all of te people happy all of the time.

If you email me clare@skybusinessservices.co.uk I will keep you informed.

Clare
