HMRC are coming to talk to us about EU Trading, including Place of Supply. What goes in which Box on the Vat Return, for EU & International Trade, Domestic & Business Trade, Goods & Services, etc. And, when and how to complete the EC Sales List.
With so many bookkeepers still UKZero-Rating everything to keep figures out of Box 7&8 on the vat return, this is a very topical subject which will hopefully give bookkeepers the confidence to deal with Global Trading more accurately. Particulary at a time when HMRC is gearing up to start their BRC’s (Business Records Checks), and collect an estimated £600m extra revenue over the next 4 years through inaccurate record keeping.
