Good morning 

Could somebody possibly give me some examples of CPD points, how they are earnt and what one point is equivalent to. My membership is up for renewal in September and I need to update my CPD points section. 

Currently it is showing as zero however I attended the last 2 day conference, have nearly finished my self assessment course and am about to sit my payroll exam. 

What do you use for the unstructured?

I agree with Caryls reply and I have found it relatively easy to achieve my 30 points, however I am unsure on it webinars are treated as structured or unstructured points, can anyone clarify this?

 Hi does anyone know how many points you can out down for a icb qualification or doing icb exams.

I am finding it difficult to find clear information on how many points you get for passing exams or attending branch meetings but you do get 1 point per hour of structured CTD.  I believe when you pass an exam the points are automatically added for you.   Maybe ICB could help with this question?

Hi Everyone, 

Caryl is correct. Anything that you can support with documentation or confirmation of attedance, counts towards structured CPD.  A 1 hour webinar hosted by ICB or it's accredited partners counts as 1 structured CPD point. For other webinars, as long as you have something to confirm your attendance, you should be all good.

Core exams (Level II and Level III) do not count towards CPD, however Level IV qualifications and certain software certifications do count towards CPD - the amount of CPD you get for these, depends on the qualification you are working towards.

@Natasha, you should have been awarded your CPD from the last conference so we will look into why that isn't appearing on your account. You will need to add your additional qualifications separately.
