60 too old to start?

Age is just the numbers.

 

You can start studying any time you feel so.

Hi, Go for it.

I'm 58 1/2 and am just coming to the end of my training. I have completed everything up to Level 4 Corporation Tax which I am about to sit the final exam.

I have only recently set up my own practice and I also thought if I was too late. Well the answer is no - my age has not put clients off.

So pull up you're big strong pants and go for it Cool

I’ve run into a similar snag before, and it’s a relief to see a straightforward fix for it. This is definitely much easier than the workaround I was trying to piece together myself.

I really hope not! I've just started retraining at 57. I've been in IT for decades, and I know for a fact my age is making it harder to get noticed in that industry. I'm relying on the fact that a bit of grey will reassure future bookkeeping clients that I look more experienced than I am Laughing

Definitely not!  60 is the start of a new milestone.  Go for it!
