Hi all,

I am just waiting for my license to be approved then i can start offering my Bookkeeping and Payroll services to clients.

I have a business that may be interested in my Payroll services but obvoiusly I can't accept the work until the license has been approved but as soon as this happens what is the first thing that i need to do?

Just so that i am prepared, what are the first steps after taking on a client for Payroll services?

Thanks

Hello Andrew, Well done Laughing.  Have you written to HMRC to obtain an agent ID for PAYE?  If you have this in place, then your customer will need to authorise you as their agent (64-8 form). If you havent done so already, you'll also need a signed terms of engagement, GDPR and MLR in place.  Then you are ready to roll... I love payroll, so if you need more information please contact me directly zoeflay@yahoo.co.uk
