Hi

Hoping someone can advise...

I need to submit a 17/18 month 12 EYU for CIS suffered by a Limited Company client.

Assume I can use Basic Tools to do this and so I've set the client up.  However to get to the EYU screen, I normally have to set up an employee first.

Do I set the Director of the company up as the employee with URT etc?  Is there anything else I need to consider for CIS suffered or is Basic Tools not the right tool to use for this?

Any help with this would be greately appreciated. Many Thanks

Hi Mary,

To submit the CIS suffered so that it can be offset against PAYE, you will need to send an EPS for that tax year.  It will need to show the correct YTD figures that you want HMRC to see.

You can do this in BPT without setting up an employee.

Hi Kevin

Thanks so much for your help.

I was getting a bit bogged down with the EYU function so I had another look and I found it.

Basic Tools is sometimes a bit of a guessing game but all now submiitted :-)

Thanks again

Regards
