Hi all - me again!

While I'm on I just wanted to let you know that I am now providing Payroll Only services and specialising in Payroll and Workplace Pensions, not bookkeeping. I am now trading as North Star Payroll Ltd (but can't seem to change my profile pic at the mo!)

So if you are fed up with doing your payrolls or get any enquiries from new clients and you want to pass them on to us, feel free! We would love to take on any payroll work you don't want :)

Hello Liz

Good luck with your new direction. I'm hoping to be up and running soon doing basic bookkeeping and SA but no plans as yet to do payroll, although watching the Pension webinar last week it did get me thinking that payroll with an auto-enrolment pension service may be a good service to add. I've done payroll in the past and found that the Direct Payments Scheme offered within Local Authorities Social Care offered opportunities to payroll bureau's. It's something I'm thinking about doing again when the time is right and I've established myself a little. If you want any first hand information on this area let me know and I'll try and offer my help/experiences.
