Hi,

I would just like to say a thank you to Ken and everyone who came and supported the first Black Country (Dudley), Meeting today. It had quite an alarming start, as the alarm system of the venue would not switch off, and an engineer has to be called. It certainly was a noisy beginning, but i really hope that everyone enjoyed it, and that it didn't put anyone off from attending in the future. It could only happen to me, but I really appreciate everyones support, and help at trying to silence the alarm. (New career perhaps).

Anyway, thanks once again, and i look forward to meeting you all again soon, and hopefully a few more faces too.

Enjoy the rest of the day

Elaine, thank you for the work you put into making the meeting happen. It was good to meet everyone, and please don't worry about the alarm - think of it as a new form of ice-breaking exercise! Looking forward to future meetings, hopefullly no longer as a nervous newbie!

Thanks Sue for your lovely message. im glad you enjoyed it. I'm not sure I would recommend my ice breaking technique, and Im really glad it wasnt a rainy day, but Thank you. i'll try and find something a bit quieter to make the ice next time. Thanks to everyone that came and im looking forward to the next one. I think we will recommend compulsory ice plugs for the next one (only joking-I hope).

Thanks Sue and everyone.

Kind regards and very best wishes

Elaine
