Hello,

My name is Rachel and I have recently joined the ICB as a student of Ideal Schools.

I am new to forums and find it all a bit daunting but excited to be able to connect with fellow students and full members alike.

I have been looking for a local branch meeting to attend and wondered if anyone can inform me of any in the North Devon area?

Hi Rachel & Inkpen

There don't seem to be any meetings west of Somerset at the moment.  I organised a branch in Exeter for about 12 months, then moved to Saltash, and there was no one willing to continue it.

I'd probably be willing to help set something up somewhere to try and get meetings a bit further down the peninsula, but couldn't take the whole thing on again.  Branch meetings are organised by local members for local members, and organising them as a team would be much better.

Maybe some others will have some ideas too.

Hi Inkpen & Fiona,

Thank you both for your welcome & replies.

Fiona - It would be lovely to have a branch closer if there is enough interest and something I would normally be more than willing to orginise/help organise. However I feel it is all a bit to much for me at the momment with just starting my studies, work and home life. But watch this space, maybe I will be back to you asking for your valued support & advice 

Inkpen - Maybe we could look into the possibilites of traveling together to a branch meeting, until we find a closer one?
