New ICB Cheshire Branch for 2014!

Hi All,


A new ICB Branch will be set up in Cheshire for 2014 and I will be assisting to get the branch up and running. I will be temporary Branch Chair until a Branch Chair is found and the branch is established. I will give support to the branch and Branch Chair before finalising any handover.


As Branch Chair of Greater Manchester I have seen the success and rewards of attending a branch network and the opportunities of connecting with fellow bookkeepers and members to share ideas, discuss topics and share problems! We also have invited speakers on various topics. 
 
Greater Manchester and Lancashire Branches continue to grow and members reading this in these areas are still welcome and encouranged to come along to your local branch and be involved.

I am asking for areas and location of members, times and dates of availability etc. and will look to set a very first meeting in January and start the year as we mean to go on.

All members are welcome, regardless of your level of membership, self-employed or employed etc.

Thank you to the members who have contacted me already showing interest in the new Cheshire Branch. I will be in touch with more details shortly.


The branch will aim to Launch in January, and with Chrismas not too far away I would like to plan as much as we can for our first meeting.

We are delighted to announce that the Cheshire inaugural branch meeting will be taking place on Thursday 27th March. ICB chief executive Garry Carter will be presenting at this meeting and will be filling you on the latest industry and ICB updates.

We have had great success with the Manchester Branch and it is continuing to grow as a fundamental resource for all members since it's launch in 2012.

 

I know I always say "please do come along" but do - the branch network is great for speaking to other members, sharing ideas and sharing problem areas.
